We welcome advisors with diverse backgrounds in education. Generally, you should have relevant experience in educational consulting, admissions, career counseling, or tutoring. A background check is required for all advisors to ensure student safety.
Payments are processed securely through Stripe. After each completed session, funds are transferred to your connected bank account according to our payout schedule (1st and 15th of each month). You can track all your earnings through your advisor dashboard.
Absolutely! You have full control over your pricing and schedule. Set hourly rates that reflect your expertise, and manage your availability calendar to accept bookings when it works for you.
All advisors go through a verification process including identity verification and background checks. We also have a review system that helps maintain high standards. Our Trust & Safety team monitors the platform continuously.

Joining EdHyve is free. We operate on a commission model where a small percentage is taken from completed bookings to maintain the platform and provide support services. You keep the majority of your earnings.
